 [link]I have had my eyes on using this one for a couple of weeks but was going to do it in pastel (and still might). ________________________________________ ___ Acrylic on Canvas ________________________________________ ___ I am very pleased with how this went as I thought it might be beyond me and also wasn't sure the idea of the spilting the canvas in half would work. 2 weeks ago I set myself the goal of being able to paint as well as I can do soft pastel by next Easter. Unfortunately I am going to have to set myself a new goal very soon as this is about 85% there and also very close to the style I want to paint in. I thought my progress with pastels was quick but this has astounded me!!!! I am also surprised to admit that my hating painted has turned into loving it!!!! It takes a lot more work to get what you want by constantly adjusting things but I like the way it comes together. As always your comments are appreciated. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
